Role Summary
The Project Coordinator plays a vital role in maintaining and delivering critical schedules that support Defence capability. This position is responsible for coordinating ship maintenance schedules, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure accurate scheduling, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage service delivery schedules, including integrated maintenance programs and Ship Maintenance Availability schedules.
- Lead planning activities such as the Target Budget Estimate process.
- Update schedules and track progress against Contract Deliverables.
- Liaise and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and delivery.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across scheduling and support services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Supply, Governance, and Operations.
- Ensure compliance with Defence statutory requirements and company standards.
- Contribute to reporting and analysis to support decision-making.
- Promote a strong safety culture and secure work environment.
- Proven experience as a Scheduler in an Australian Defence or commercial environment.
- Strong proficiency in scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera and Open Plan Professional (OPP), with expertise in schedule reporting.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Hold (or be eligible to obtain) an AGSVA Baseline security clearance.
