P-8 Leading Teacher - Campus Learning Community Leader

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced P-8 Leading Teacher to join our Campus Learning Community as a Campus Learning Community Leader. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the implementation of whole school improvement initiatives related to the school strategic plan and school priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the implementation of whole school improvement initiatives related to the school strategic plan and school priorities.
  • Work with the Principal Class Team to assist with the development of individual and/or team performance and development plans for staff.
  • Work with the Principal Class Team to lead data curation and analysis for the improvement of student outcomes.
  • Lead a PLC whose purpose is to improve student engagement and outcomes, delivering high challenge, engaging and stimulating curriculum.
  • Lead and manage staff performance and development.
  • Manage whole school curriculum delivery and standards thereof.
  • Work with Education Support staff relevant to the Stage of Learning to ensure the best outcomes for all students.

Requirements

  • Teachers currently registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and qualified to teach and/or have demonstrated experience in the curriculum area(s) specified for the position.
  • Provisional or full registration from the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
  • Pass the literacy and numeracy test for initial teacher education (LANTITE) requirements.
