The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Lifestyle Officer to join our organisation. The successful candidate will support the delivery of meaningful leisure and lifestyle programs to our residents, enabling them to achieve their full potential.

The key focus areas for this role include:

  • Collaborating with the team to deliver high-quality engagement and purposeful living programs, meeting accreditation requirements.
  • Undertaking resident assessments and completing associated documentation.
  • Facilitating engaging, innovative, and meaningful leisure and lifestyle programs tailored to clients' social, emotional, cultural, spiritual, physical, and cognitive needs and abilities.
  • Assisting residents to achieve maximum independence, maintain friendships, and participate in the community through planned group and individual leisure-based activities.
  • Evaluating programs regularly to ensure they meet the needs of residents, including suggestions for improvements.

The ideal candidate will possess a Diploma or Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle qualifications (or be working towards this) and have relevant experience in aged care. They will demonstrate a passion for delivering high-quality care, eagerness to grow and develop their career, excellent customer service and resident relations skills, strong verbal, written, and communication skills, and a commitment to continuous quality improvement.
