Agricultural Farm Assistant

Our organization seeks a skilled and motivated farmhand to perform various duties in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have an interest in horticulture and farming, with the ability to learn quickly.
We grow our products indoors in climate-controlled facilities, allowing us to harvest year-round.
About the Role:
As a farmhand, you will be responsible for setting up growing rooms for harvesting, assisting pickers on a day-to-day basis, and maintaining clean and sanitized facilities and equipment.
You will also perform and record quality checks to ensure that quality requirements are being met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of tasks to support the harvesting process
- Ensure high-quality products by maintaining clean facilities and equipment
- Record and report quality checks
- Operate lifting equipment and load/unload delivery vehicles as required
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Intermediate English skills
- Physical fitness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work during the day on a rotating roster
- Reliable transportation
- Previous experience working in a similar role (highly regarded)
