About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Operations Specialist to join our team at Zip Co. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to lead the Accounts Payable function and drive process improvements.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Owning the end-to-end Accounts Payable function, including invoice processing, approval workflow management, and vendor relationships
  • Implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Providing exceptional support to the business, ensuring timely payment of invoices and maintaining strong vendor relationships
  • Assisting with cash flow forecasting and bank reconciliations
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar AP manager capacity, with experience managing internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge of AP processes and procedures, including GST apportionment and reverse charge
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to enforce a strict Delegation of Authority
  • Intermediate-level Excel skills and experience with AP and expense management systems
