
Professional Caregiver

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to residents in a residential aged care facility.
Key Responsibilities:- Individualized Care Planning: Develop personalized care plans for each resident, ensuring their physical, social, and emotional needs are met.
- Care Coordination: Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day care of residents, including administering medications, providing personal care, and promoting independence.
- Collaborative Practice: Work with healthcare professionals, such as doctors and therapists, to ensure comprehensive care is provided.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care, including medical histories and progress notes.
- Cultivating Respect: Contribute to a safe and respectful environment by promoting dignity, privacy, and independence for residents.
Requirements:
- A current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- A valid CPR certificate.
- Police clearance.
- A minimum 2 years post-registration experience in aged care, preferably in a residential setting.
- Desirable skills include effective communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills; ability to prioritize care and make decisions about care needs; and current knowledge of infection control guidelines and personal and environmental hygiene practices.
