HOBAN Recruitment is seeking a skilled Case Manager for an APS6 equivalent level position within a dynamic government agency. As an Australian Citizen, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team to deliver case management services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake complex case management activities guided by legislation and policy.
- Resolve issues and risks while maintaining high standards of performance.
- Provide technical and professional advice on complex problems.
- Participate in strategic planning and policy development for our client.
- Apply alternate dispute resolution methods in line with model litigant principles.
- Attend Case Conferences, Conciliations, and Hearings with the AAT.
- Maintain accurate electronic records to support decision-making processes.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in case management, particularly with complex matters.
- Strong decision-making skills, backed by evidence and a deep understanding of legislation.
- Ability to engage with vulnerable participants and manage associated risks.
- Proficiency in interpreting and applying policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of the NDIS and supports for people with disability (highly desirable).
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- A commitment to achieving both individual and team goals.
Benefits
- Competitive pay rate of $60.26 per hour, including casual loading.
- 5% superannuation to secure your future.
- ASAP start date, pending clearances.
- An initial up to 6-month assignment with the possibility of an extension, based on business requirements.
- Full-time position, offering 5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
