About the Role

The University of Western Australia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Complex Case Manager to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for managing students with multiple and complex needs, coordinating internal and external support services, and contributing to the University's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective case management plans to support students with complex needs.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide comprehensive support services.
  • Provide leadership on managing serious student incidents and complex cases.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to student wellbeing and support.
  • Provide clinical supervision and establish effective partnerships with students, staff, and external agencies.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent competency.
  • Registration with a relevant professional organisation (e.g., AASW).
  • Extensive experience in case management for students with complex needs.
  • Experience in managing serious incidents and crisis intervention.
  • High-level analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to provide clinical supervision and establish effective partnerships.
  • Proficiency in computing skills and effective communication abilities.
Special Requirements
  • Occasional after-hours work for incident response.
  • Current Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance Certificate.
