About this role

We are seeking a Strategic Planning Manager to support our team in aligning business pillars, consolidating the portfolio roadmap, and liaising with other functions of the organisation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Sponsorship and Alignment: Support pillars to assess dependencies, consolidate activities, and plan within the portfolio.
  • Prioritisation: Support prioritisation activities, optimising resources to deliver and support Investment team.
  • Liaison and Escalation: Act as a point of contact to escalate activities with other teams.
  • Demand Management: Assess and ensure demand aligns with workplace technology plans and IT Strategy.
  • Conflicts Resolution: Help to identify demand conflicts, recommending escalation of them where appropriate for resolution, and for balancing the requests for new work with the current workload.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate resource capacity to right activities & plan for additional resources required to meet demand.
  • Budget Management: Support the Director in managing the function's budget.

Requirements:

  • Program Management Experience: Proven experience in program management.
  • Project Management Experience: Experience managing PM's previously.
  • IT Delivery Management Experience: I.T delivery management experience.
  • Business Engagement Skills: Strong business engagement skills, project financials, operated with various delivery frameworks.
  • Long-term Planning: Has worked across portfolios and participated in long term planning (in internal workplace tech).
  • Budget Management: Has worked with budgets up to $20 - $30M.
