About This Role:
We're seeking an experienced HC Licence holder with at least 2 years' recent Australian driving experience to join our team as a Tautliner Driver. You will be responsible for running tautliners, conducting pre-trip inspections, building rapport with internal and external customers, and ensuring timely and efficient pick-up and delivery of freight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating heavy vehicles safely and efficiently
- Conducting thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness and compliance
- Building strong relationships with customers through excellent communication and service skills
- Maintaining adherence to schedules and ensuring efficient pick-up and delivery of freight
- Accurately completing electronic reporting systems and other required documentation
- Notifying dispatch of any issues affecting deliveries or workload
- Complying with company/site policies and state and national transport regulations

- Completion of Visy's Practical Driver Assessment
- Excellent communication, time management skills, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork
