System Improvement Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to develop and implement significant improvements to payroll processes. This role is responsible for working in partnership with a senior team member to configure payroll systems and ensure their integrity.

Main Responsibilities
  • Configure payroll systems and ensure their accuracy and reliability
  • Manage all tasks relating to system setup and maintenance, including regular system checks and resolving technical issues
  • Support projects and ongoing initiatives to improve and enhance systems functionality
  • Provide first-level support and issue resolution for payroll systems
  • Set up new payment codes, locations, cost centres, positions, allowance, and deduction codes in HRIS systems
Requirements
  • Experience or exposure with system implementation/integration/data migration (preferably within a large organisation)
  • Demonstrated experience using and understanding complex computerised HR and payroll systems
  • Understanding of and experience interpreting Awards/EBAs
  • High-level attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience in configuring systems and developing specifications for custom reports
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with clear communication techniques
