Commercial Housekeeping Supervisor Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. As a casual employee, you will work rotating rosters and be responsible for assisting the Executive Housekeeper with directing and overseeing all housekeeping staff.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To ensure that all rooms cleaned by Room Attendants meet the required standards.
  • To supervise and direct Team Leaders, Room Attendants and House Persons accordingly.
  • To ensure productivity and daily schedules are adhered to.
  • To assist in the day-to-day training of Room Attendants to ensure correct cleaning procedures and chemical usage.
  • To consult with Housekeeping Management on personnel matters, including hiring, evaluating, suspending, and training personnel.
  • To monitor allocations of arrivals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous supervisory experience in a commercial cleaning environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and telephone manner.
  • The ability to work weekends and public holidays.
  • Previous experience in a similar Resort or Hotel environment is highly regarded.

Requirements:

  • Australian work rights.
