Housekeeping Manager Role Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of housekeeping staff and provide exceptional cleaning services to our guests.

  1. Lead a high-performing team of housekeeping staff to ensure a high standard of cleanliness throughout the property.
  2. Build strong relationships with clients, contractor personnel, and other stakeholders to deliver excellent service standards.
  3. Develop and implement effective cleaning procedures to maintain the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene.
  4. Conduct on-the-job training for new cleaning employees to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
  5. Maintain accurate records of financial, maintenance, and inventory data to inform business decisions.

Requirements for Success

  • Demonstrated experience in managing housekeeping teams and implementing cleaning procedures.
  • Strong budgeting and financial management skills, including controlling operating supplies, replacements, and consumables.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team to achieve departmental goals and maintain exceptional service standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
  • A keen eye for detail and ability to follow procedures to set the standard for cleanliness.
