Job Description

We are currently seeking a hard-working, dedicated and experienced professional for the role of Housekeeping Manager at Oaks Broome Hotel and Oaks Cable Beach Resort.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure a high standard of cleanliness is evident throughout the property in Housekeeping (in rooms, public and common areas).
  • Build a productive and professional relationship with Housekeeping staff, Housekeeping clients and all contractor personnel.
  • Lead housekeeping team to provide an excellent cleaning service.
  • Oversee daily on the job training for all cleaning employees.
  • Maintain accurate financial, maintenance and inventory records.
Qualified
  • Experience in the management of a housekeeping team.
  • Experience controlling and maintaining budgets, all operating supplies, replacements and consumables.
  • Proven experience in managing staff, with a strong ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team to achieve departmental goals and maintain exceptional service standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Strong eye for detail, and ability to follow procedures and set the standard for cleanliness.
  • Flexibility and availability to work evenings, weekends, and other peak periods as required, demonstrating commitment to meeting the needs of the business and ensuring smooth operations.
Additional Information
  • Approved Sponsor: Minor Hotels Australasia Limited (previously known as Oaks Hotels & Resorts Limited).
  • Annual salary range: $76,000- $78,000 (excluding superannuation).
  • Expected hours: 38 per week.
  • Location: Oaks Broome Hotel - 99 Robinson Street, Broome WA 6725 / Oaks Cable Beach Resort - 11 Oryx Road, Cable Beach WA 6726.
