We are seeking a Strategic Development Leader to spearhead our development endeavors at our Gold Coast office.

About The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal leadership role within our team, overseeing a talented group of professionals and collaborating with key stakeholders to devise effective strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversight of a talented team including development managers, assistant development managers, and graduates.
  • Collaboration with the sales & product manager to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies aligned with project concepts.
  • Partnership with the construction project manager to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Execution of development strategies from site acquisition and funding to product concept and feasibility analysis.
  • Contribution to marketing initiatives and project revenue generation.
  • Guidance of construction delivery and settlement processes.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with experience in multi-residential and commercial developments, as well as a solid understanding of the local market. A passion for the development process and commitment to building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders are essential.

Requirements
  • Degree in property economics, business, marketing, or a related discipline highly desirable.
  • Commitment to coaching and mentoring team members, promoting knowledge sharing and career development.
  • Proven ability to work within development strategies, challenging concepts to achieve team objectives.
  • Experience in developing and executing sales and marketing strategies.
  • Strong passion for property development, with a keen interest in market intelligence and successful sales strategies.
  • Proactive in identifying, negotiating, and resolving potential project issues.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders both internal and external.
  • Demonstrated success in a similar role with a strong track record.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a confident yet humble demeanor.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, with a willingness to embrace feedback and a desire to continuously learn and grow.
