Project Management Role

Lead project-based operations and activities in a forward-facing role.

The successful candidate will apply industry practices, legislation, and standards for safe, compliant, and effective project delivery, demonstrating leadership, stakeholder engagement, and commercial and technical expertise.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver projects safely and environmentally soundly.
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality projects.
  • Manage projects profitably.
  • Maintain close working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Work with the Design Manager to ensure designs meet project requirements.
  • Procure equipment and subcontract resources effectively.
Requirements
  • Experience managing capital works projects over $30M-$50M.
  • Experience managing incentivised target cost or similar.
  • PMI or APM Certification.
  • Ability to travel as work may be metro or regional.
  • Strong background in Water and Wastewater infrastructure.

  • Understand construction risks and opportunities and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Know contractual obligations and ensure compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Adhere to relevant legal, corporate, and procedural HSEQ requirements.
  • Collaborate effectively across functions and promote a win-win approach to teamwork and conflict resolution.
  • Embrace change as a catalyst for improvement and understand its necessity in organisational growth.
