Senior Compliance and Anti-Financial Crime Specialist

This role involves providing strategic advice on anti-financial crime matters, including money laundering and terrorist financing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of local regulatory requirements and be able to conduct risk assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing anti-financial crime strategies to mitigate financial risks.
  • Conducting regular risk assessments to identify potential threats.
  • Providing advice on the applicability of laws and regulations within a given environment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum eight years of experience in compliance and anti-financial crime in banks/financial institutions/local regulators.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in managing local regulatory requirements.
  • Extensive experience in conducting risk assessments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • University degree in law, finance, and/or economics.
  • English native speaker, Italian is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of local and international economic sanctions laws and regulations.

Desirable Skills:

  • Deep understanding of the investment management/financial business.
  • Positive attitude towards colleagues and the organisation to ensure seamless communication.
