Job Overview:

The Field Inventory Specialist plays a pivotal role in managing consignment inventory across regions.

This key position requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory management and backorder processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with field teams to ensure accurate SAP stock locations
  • Assist supply chain and marketing departments with inventory requirements during phase-in/phase-out situations
  • Manage obsolescence and expired stock
  • Develop process improvements for the consignment management process
  • Collaborate with business units to set up PAR levels
  • Analyze field stock levels to inform data-driven decisions
  • Conduct physical inventory counts
  • Support initiatives focused on inventory accuracy and efficiency
  • Maintain compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Promote best practices in inventory control and contribute to process improvement projects

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years relevant experience in inventory control
  • Experience or willingness to work in a customer-facing environment
  • Ability to travel as required (20-25% in Brisbane)
  • Proficiency in SAP is an advantage
