This position is accountable to the Senior Finance Business Partner and involves collaborating closely with business leaders to provide strategic financial guidance, analysis, and commercial insights.
The role focuses on projects with responsibilities including project pricing, contract negotiation, live project reviews, variation management, and working capital performance to enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Providing trusted financial advice to key stakeholders to align business direction and financial strategies.
- Conducting analytical reviews on project budgets.
- Offering support and financial management to projects within the organization.
- Preparing and analysing monthly management reports.
- Analysing actual versus budget expense accounts on the Profit and Loss statement.
- Tender reviews on project pricing, assessing profitability and risk.
- Assisting in addressing queries from various stakeholders.
- Possession of tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- Completion of CPA/CA qualification (or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- At least 3 years' experience in a finance partnering or similar role.
- Able to operate under ambiguity and develop new ideas and business solutions.
- Able to influence, manage, and prioritise across diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in delivering commercial outcomes.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as financial transaction systems and data analytics tools is highly desirable.
- A high level of competency in MS Office applications.
