Academic Development Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled Academic Development Leader to join our Centre for Learning and Teaching at Edith Cowan University. As an integral part of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of academic practice.
About the RoleThis full-time, ongoing position attracts remuneration of $110,065 to $130,045 pa plus 17% University superannuation contribution. ECU supports a work/life balance for staff, offering flexible working arrangements that can be negotiated to meet your personal circumstances.

Your Key Responsibilities- Led the design and facilitation of professional learning programs to support capability building, recognition, and reward for teaching excellence and scholarship.
- Work closely with the Manager, Teaching Quality, to implement evidence-informed, scholarly curriculum, assessment, and teaching practices.
- Cordinated and supported learning and teaching fellowships and awards.
- A PhD in a relevant discipline (e.g., Learning Sciences, Education, Instructional Design) or demonstrated equivalence.
- Evidence of academic leadership and expertise in university teaching, curriculum design, and pedagogy.
- Expert knowledge and skill in the conceptualisation, design, and delivery of academic development services, resources, and programs.
- Demonstrated capacity to problem-solve in fast-moving situations and manage complexity with elegant solutions.
