Job Title: Senior Relationship Associate

  • This role is a key part of our local Agribusiness team, supporting Relationship Managers in engaging with customers and understanding their needs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building strong relationships with customers, colleagues and stakeholders alike, acting as a conduit between the front line and support teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting Relationship Managers and their customer portfolio, giving exposure to larger and more complex customers.
  • Deepening existing customer relationships through understanding customer needs and providing relevant solutions across all product suites.
  • Onboarding new customers, obtaining necessary information and documentation, completing application forms and maintaining ongoing portfolio maintenance.
  • Building strong relationships with customers via phone and email, with opportunities to join customer visits.

Requirements for success include:

  • A tertiary qualification in agribusiness, finance or a related discipline.
  • Experience in or solid knowledge of agribusiness lending and credit risk principles.
  • Financial analysis skills, including the ability to analyse and interpret financial statements.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of market conditions, products, cash flows and markets would be beneficial.
