Job Title: Australia and New Zealand Cloud Architecture Lead

About the Role

This senior leadership position oversees a team of cloud architects in Australia and New Zealand, driving the adoption of Amazon Web Services within the region.

The successful candidate will leverage their technical expertise and business acumen to establish AWS as a premier technology platform provider.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead and guide the ANZ Solutions Architecture team to achieve strategic goals.
  • Nurture long-term relationships with key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and develop new Solution Architects from internal and external sources.
  • Develop and coach team members on conducting training sessions and transferring technical skills to customers.
  • Educate public sector customers on the value proposition of AWS and participate in architectural discussions to create cloud-ready solutions.
  • Drive the creation of high-value customer-facing content, such as whitepapers and data sheets.
  • Serve as a liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and support.
  • Travel as required for meetings and collaborations.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience managing technical resources or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking expertise.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience architecting/operating solutions on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).
