Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned cloud architecture expert to join our team on a 12-month contract basis. This role will focus on delivering high-end cloud solutions, primarily leveraging Microsoft Azure technologies.

This is a key technical leadership position that requires expertise in designing and implementing secure, scalable, and resilient cloud architectures. As a trusted advisor, you will drive complex cloud projects, influence cloud strategy, and provide valuable solutions to clients.

  • This role is open to Australian Citizens holding an NV-1 Clearance only.
Main Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement comprehensive cloud solution designs, focusing on Microsoft Azure technologies.
  2. Provide strategic consulting to clients on cloud adoption, migration, and optimisation initiatives.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures.
  4. Mentor and guide consultants and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
  5. Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, define cloud roadmaps, and deliver compelling presentations.
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to provide cutting-edge solutions.
  7. Contribute to pre-sales activities, proposals, and thought leadership within the organisation.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in architecting and delivering cloud solutions, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.
  • Solid understanding of cloud computing fundamentals, including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, networking, security, and governance.
  • Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into effective cloud architectures.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Bicep) and CI/CD pipelines, along with a solid understanding of DevOps/Platform Engineering concepts and processes.
  • Strong consulting skills, with the ability to influence and manage senior client stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant cloud certifications are a plus.
