Role Overview
">Bed ManagerA skilled Bed Manager is required to join a dynamic team at a community hospital. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a supportive environment, providing comprehensive healthcare services for patients over 18 years old.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be able to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks under pressure. They must also have experience in leading and managing teams, with a focus on delivering high standards of patient care.
">- Key Responsibilities:
- Triage patients and allocate them to the most appropriate bed and location.
- Work closely with Ward Band 6 staff to ensure seamless patient care and efficient bed management.
- Manage patient needs and work effectively with a variety of people across different sectors.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must have a registered healthcare professional qualification (NMC or HCPC registration) and relevant experience in health improvement environments. They must also have evidence of specialist qualifications, project management training and experience in leading and managing teams.
Candidates should also have a strong understanding of National Service Frameworks and NICE guidance. The successful candidate will be required to confirm they have a full UK driving license where driving is a requirement of the role.
