Establish a comprehensive careers education framework to support students in clarifying and achieving their career goals. Foster partnerships between industry, tertiary institutions, and the school community to provide access to relevant and current career information.
- Develop and maintain networks with industry professionals, educational institutions, and community organizations to enhance student career prospects.
- Design and deliver innovative programs that actively engage students and parents in planning for the future.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to provide careers education frameworks and resources that align with student learning objectives.
- Provide one-on-one guidance and counselling services to students transitioning from middle to senior school and to senior students during change of preference periods.
- Identify and introduce cutting-edge methods for delivering up-to-date career information and strengthening connections within the school community and with external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students in making informed decisions about their career pathways by providing guidance on subject selection, course options, and career choices.
- Implement a holistic approach to student futures, engaging both students and parents in the planning process.
