Quality Control Specialist

This role plays an integral part in championing all aspects of quality and compliance, ensuring our products are manufactured to last.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure all new products launched by the company are safe and fit for purpose, with regular review and updating of specific product development guidelines.
- Work closely with product teams as a consultant on new product developments to ensure minimum requirements in terms of safety, quality, and legal requirements are known and will be met.
- Undertake rigorous testing on all new products prior to shipments, including materials, taking into account product risk, material risk, and country-specific risks and requirements.
- Perform first shipment inspections on all new products, working closely with factories to ensure products meet minimum company requirements for quality and safety.
- Formal tertiary qualifications in QA/QC or relevant industry experience.
- Experience with furniture, home furnishings, or within an FMCG environment is highly desirable.
- Demonstrable experience in method validation and presenting quality control standards during regulatory inspections.
- Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders while multitasking on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
