Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality in everything we do.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food science, chemistry or chemical engineering, and at least 12 months experience working in a QC role in food manufacturing industry or in a laboratory. Additionally, they should have strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Suite.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Test and release products that meet specification
  • Support cross-functional stakeholders including production, warehouse, technical, sales, customer care and planning teams
  • Set up sensory samples for tasting and participate in panel tasting
  • Ensure manufacturing processes cover relevant controls and practices to maintain high quality
Key Deliverables:
  • Develop best practice to implement and control all aspects of Quality in the Production area
  • Conduct calibration checks as needed
  • Drive continuous improvement and contribute to making QC processes more efficient
  • Raise quality non-conformance for out of specification finished goods and raw materials
  • Analyse incoming raw materials and finished good samples promptly
  • Assist management in reinforcing Good Manufacturing Practices in Production
  • Conduct allergen and environmental swabs regularly
About You:
  • You have a degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
  • You have at least 12 months experience working in a QC role in food manufacturing industry or in a laboratory
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • You are comfortable with Google Suite and Microsoft Suite
  • You have HACCP and GMP knowledge
  • You have basic SAP knowledge
  • You have quality control knowledge from a food manufacturing industry
