About Our Role

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance and Control Specialist to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products from manufacturing to delivery.

Your primary focus will be on implementing and maintaining quality control processes throughout our supply chain management system.

You will inspect and monitor facilities for cleanliness and food safety, documenting all product quality records, tests, and inspections.

Additionally, you will set requirements for raw materials and track supplier compliance, investigating customer complaints and non-conformance issues.

In collaboration with our site and network teams, you will participate in continuous improvement activities and root cause analysis to ensure we consistently meet industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure product consistency and reliability
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of product quality, testing, and inspections
  • Conduct regular facility inspections to ensure cleanliness and adherence to food safety guidelines
  • Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and process optimization

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC in a food manufacturing environment (meat production and cooking preferred)
  • Proven experience with ISO Quality Systems, HACCP, and GMP environments
  • Detailed understanding of quality control and assurance procedures and relevant industry standards
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
