Assistant Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at the Brighton Beach Hotel.


The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leadership and be able to effectively manage a team to deliver exceptional customer service. They will also possess strong communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and be committed to maintaining a safe and respectful work environment.


About The Position
  • Lead a team of hospitality professionals to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service
  • Collaborate with the Publican to develop business strategies and implement effective solutions to drive revenue growth
  • Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient operations and minimize waste
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable prices and terms
  • Monitor and control costs to optimize profitability and achieve budgetary targets

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise staff to ensure all aspects of their job are completed in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular performance appraisals to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for professional development
  • Recruit, train, and develop high-performing teams to drive business success
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to inform business decisions and drive operational excellence

Requirements
  • Proven experience in a senior management role within the hospitality industry
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Current RSA and RSG/RCG certifications as per state requirements
