Air Transport Expertise for Pacific Region Development
About the RoleThis aviation professional position offers a rare opportunity to contribute to the strategic development of the Pacific region's air transport sector. The selected expert will collaborate with key stakeholders, including government agencies, regulatory bodies, airport authorities, and airlines, to strengthen aviation safety, increase capacity building, and enhance regional connectivity.
Responsibilities- Provide technical support to the program, working closely with Ministries, regulators, and industry partners to achieve desired outcomes.
- Build partner capability through knowledge sharing, training, and capacity-building initiatives.
- Conduct research and analysis on key aviation sector information to inform program decisions.
- Develop reports, policy documents, briefing papers, and other deliverables as required.
- Masters degree or higher in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- At least 10 years' experience in the aviation sector, preferably in the Pacific region.
- Strong understanding of aviation policy, regulation, and operations.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
