About the Role

We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our Bidding Team, working across a range of exciting bids and projects. In this role, you will play a key role in supporting the Bidding Department during the preparation of EoI and Tender Proposal.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and subcontractors, evaluate supplier capability, and maintain procurement databases, including supplier qualification.
  2. Liaise with business stakeholders to align on business requirements, scopes, and specifications to be incorporated into RFQ, RFP, and issue NDAs, and issue RFQs promptly and professionally.
  3. Execute the Clough procurement processes and follow Clough bidding principles to deliver procurement outcomes to support infrastructure, energy, and resource project bidding activities.
  4. Manage all external and internal stakeholder communication to ensure the procurement process is undertaken in an effective and compliant manner.
  5. Maintain and report procurement activity status weekly during the bidding phase, provide procurement transparency to senior stakeholders, and ensure procurement KPIs are met.
  6. Analyze and evaluate supplier RFQ submissions, prepare commercial comparison sheets, identify areas for improvement, and deliver competitive commercial outcomes within the deadline.

Requirements

  1. Minimum of 3 years of experience gained in Supply chain and Procurement Departments within Infrastructure, Energy, and Resource sectors.
  2. Excellent communication skills with multiple stakeholders, JV partners.
  3. Confidence in having technical discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
  4. Ability to analyze prices by assessing basic cost drivers (raw Material, Manpower, Depreciation, etc.).
  5. Enjoy working with a large amount of data, and information. Be able to apply your commercial acumen and analytical skills to draw insights from the data and provide commercial recommendations to your stakeholders.
  6. Attention to detail and yet being able to deliver outcomes within a pressed time frame.
  7. Have a curious mind, take initiative, enjoy collaborative work, and adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced working environment.
  8. Team player, flexible in supporting various types of bids and projects.
  9. Interstate travel may be required for major project bids.
