Talent International is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team in a 12-month contract role. As an EL1 Procurement Specialist, you will play a key role in managing the OCIO vendor portfolio, defining vendor requirements, and cultivating relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and manage procurement activities to ensure compliance with prescribed policy and procedures.
  • Prepare documentation, approval briefs, and business cases for procurement.
  • Review requirements and business cases to determine appropriate procurement methods.
  • Drive procurement activities in collaboration with the Agency's team and suppliers.
  • Advise on the business case for alternative sourcing models.
Requirements
  • Australian Citizenship is a requirement for this position.
  • 4-6 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience in navigating the Commonwealth investment framework.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the Digital and ICT Investment Oversight Framework (IOF) and experience working with DTA & BuyICT.
  • Demonstrated successful management of vendor relationships, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and performance management.
