Customer Service Officer Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Officer to join our team. This role will provide exceptional customer service to clients, suppliers and other stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing NDIS Plan Management clients, providing accounting and administrative support to the Finance department and undertaking special projects as required.

This position will work closely with staff at all levels, providing best practice solutions in a continuous improvement environment.

  • Provide excellent customer service to new and existing plan management clients, suppliers and other stakeholders
  • Assist existing clients with NDIS plan renewal, rollover and extension
  • Liaise with clients, Support Coordinators and Local Area Coordinators as needed
  • Perform all the accounting functions in the Finance area of NDIS Plan Management, duties including but not limited to data entry in Brevity, creating client service bookings, maintaining the database and reviewing budgets
  • Ensure all NDIS Plan management's claims and payments are made, consistent with the Plan Management service agreement
Key Responsibilities:

This role involves:

  1. Providing top-notch customer service to internal and external clients
  2. Managing NDIS plans, ensuring timely renewals, rollovers and extensions
  3. Liaising with key stakeholders, including clients, Support Coordinators and Local Area Coordinators
  4. Performing a range of accounting tasks, including data entry, budget review and claim processing
Accounting and Administration:

This role also involves:

  • Supporting the accounts receivable function to contact debtors and ensure timely payment
  • Providing administrative support across the finance department
  • Undertaking general administration duties as required for projects
Requirements:
  • A working knowledge within a finance/accounts team
  • Excellent communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Adept relationship-building skills, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • High-level time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Ability to obtain a NDIS Workers Screen and Blue card
  • Supply a Covid 19 Certificate of Vaccination
