Patient Service Ambassador

At Summa Health, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented representative to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist callers and patients with way-finding, appointment scheduling, pre-service registration, insurance verification, co-pay collection, physician referral, and initial screening of patient sign/symptoms.
- Provide exceptional customer service to present a positive impression of the organization.
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Post-high school level coursework in healthcare, accounting, business, public relations, or related fields is preferred.
- One year of experience performing customer service or general office support experience in any industry is preferred.
- Contact or call center experience is beneficial.
- The ability to effectively interact with diverse populations and understand their needs for self-respect and dignity.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work well within a team environment by offering and accepting honest feedback, supporting team goals, and encouraging fellow team members.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods up to 12 hours depending on location.
- Work weekends, evenings, and holidays as assigned.
