**Job Title:**
Ambassador RoleChildren’s Health Queensland is a specialist statewide hospital and health service dedicated to caring for children and young people from across Queensland and northern New South Wales.
As an Ambassador, you will be responsible for fostering a safe and secure environment for staff, patients, visitors, premises, and property at Children’s Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service sites. This role requires collaboration with other teams and departments to support the organisation’s purpose of improving the health and wellbeing of children and young people through world-class care, research, advocacy, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-profile, friendly, and visible Security and Protective Services that prevent and/or reduce aggressive/disruptive behaviour by employing verbal intervention strategies.
- Engage with patients and visitors to improve their ‘customer experience’ and promote a safe environment.
To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. You must also possess strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, as well as a commitment to providing high-quality patient-focused care.
