Job Title: Primary Midwife

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated primary midwife to join our team at Weipa Integrated Health Service.

As a primary midwife, you will provide high-quality care to women with all-risk clients in a continuity of care model.

You will work closely with other healthcare providers to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide primary midwifery care to women with all-risk clients in a continuity of care model.
  • Work closely with other healthcare providers to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife qualification.
  • Current registration with AHPRA.
  • Proven experience in midwifery practice.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
