Job Description

This role involves performing general electrical preventive maintenance and corrective repair of assets and building systems across our client sites. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing day-to-day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance
  • Completing maintenance and repair records
  • Assisting with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems
  • Reviewing assigned work orders and estimating time and materials needed to complete repair
  • Ordering necessary materials and supplies to complete all tasks
  • Inspecting new installation for compliance with building codes and safety regulations
  • Maintaining lighting systems throughout client facility, cleaning fixtures and replacing bulbs and lamps
  • Responding quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in repairs and Maintenance of electrical assets and systems ideally within the commercial sector
  • Critical environment experience would be advantageous
  • Experience in Testing and Inspection of assets and systems
  • A current and valid Electrician Contractor's License
  • Forklift and Scissor lift license would be advantageous
  • Relevant and valid OH&S cards
  • A strong understanding of AS 3001
  • A valid Driver's License
