Senior Service Delivery Manager

The role of Technical Coordinator plays a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth operation of technical services across laboratories, workshops, and workspaces. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day technical operations, compliance, and service delivery.
This includes managing a team of Technical Officers to provide high-quality, client-centric, and agile technical support for teaching, research, and industry activities.
The Technical Coordinator will liaise closely with stakeholders across STEM Schools, the College Office, Property Services, Finance, HR, and OHS to ensure compliance with RMIT policies, legislative standards, and regulatory requirements.
Main Responsibilities:- Managing technical services
- Supervising staff
- Ensuring safe and compliant operations
To excel in this position, you'll need:
- Proven knowledge, experience, and technical ability in Nursing, Anatomy, or Biological Sciences
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating technical support for teaching and research activities
- Experience in successfully supervising or managing technical services and associated technical support staff
- Knowledge of current OHS legislation, regulations, and standards with expertise in hazardous scenario management
- Proven initiative and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication, and interpersonal skills
Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children and National Police Check.
