Job Title: Sales Support Livestock and Administration

We are currently offering an exciting opportunity for full-time permanent sales support & livestock administration to join our team to support our livestock sales team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process livestock sales, including sale yard sales, private sales, other agent sales, and clearing sales.
  • Attend sale days when required at the saleyards and on farm at stud sales.
  • Provide professional and timely customer service to existing and prospective clients.
  • Assist in managing vendor and purchaser accounts relevant to all livestock transactions.
  • Perform branch administrative tasks, including accounts payable, expenses, banking, mail distribution, and general office duties.
  • Assist in managing vendor and purchaser accounts, including reconciliation and debt collection.
  • This role includes a rotating Saturday roster (one Saturday in every three months).

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in a team support role in a busy environment and have a passion for Australian farming and agriculture. In addition, you will demonstrate:

  • A proactive approach to work and practical organisation skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal communications skills to build solid long-term customer relationships.
  • Problem solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly.
  • Knowledge or experience with cattle and/or sheep livestock is advantageous but not essential.
  • Ability to identify ways to improve internal processes.
  • Excellent computer skills, including SAP, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
