Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a Sales Support & Livestock Administration professional to join our Wagga Wagga branch. You will be responsible for processing livestock sales, attending sale days, and providing exceptional customer service to existing and prospective clients.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a team support role, a passion for Australian farming and agriculture, and excellent communication skills. A proactive approach to work and practical organization skills are also essential.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Process livestock sales, including saleyard sales, private sales, other agent sales, and clearing sales.
  • Attend sale days at the saleyards and on farm at stud sales.
  • Provide timely and professional customer service to existing and prospective clients.
  • Manage vendor and purchaser accounts relevant to all livestock transactions.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including accounts payable, expenses, banking, mail distribution, and general office duties.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a team support role in a busy environment.
  • Passion for Australian farming and agriculture.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills to build solid long-term customer relationships.
  • Problem-solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly.
  • Ability to identify ways to improve internal processes.
  • Excellent computer skills, including SAP, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Able to work efficiently and unassisted.
