About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in a FIFO (Fly-In, Fly-Out) and DIDO (Drive-In, Drive-Out) role, working on a 14:14 roster. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and presentation of meals for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of chefs in the preparation and presentation of meals, ensuring high-quality dishes are delivered to our clients.
  • Develop and implement menus that cater to the needs of our clients, taking into account dietary requirements and preferences.
  • Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring that all necessary ingredients and equipment are available to meet the demands of the kitchen.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional customer experience.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards, implementing HACCP procedures and safe work practices.
Requirements
  • Australian Citizenship or Full Australian working rights, or chefs already residing in Australia seeking potential Visa sponsorship.
  • Trade Certificate, Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.
  • Previous experience in mass-catering environments, including preparing, cooking, and presenting meals for breakfast, dinner, crib, and pastries.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
