Job Title: Organisational Wellbeing Specialist

This role is a temporary full-time project position that supports staff mental health and wellbeing in schools across Queensland.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Contribute to Staff Mental Health: Provide evidence-based services to support staff engagement and behaviour through tailored professional support and information.
  2. Staff Support and Guidance: Administer psychosocial assessments, identify needs and provide proactive support and guidance for school staff facing challenges.
  3. Crisis Intervention: Engage in crisis response planning and execute emergency interventions when critical incidents or emergencies arise.
  4. Training and Development: Participate in training and professional development related to supporting teaching staff with students having behavioural support needs.
  5. Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate data collection, confidential record keeping and reporting systems for individual staff according to department procedures.
  6. Service Improvement: Collaborate on the review of policies and operational standards to continually improve psychology services to staff.
  7. Performance Monitoring: Monitor performance, evaluate service provision, and contribute to research and development initiatives.
  8. Staff Wellbeing Promotion: Promote system-wide psychology services, processes, and resources supporting staff mental health and wellbeing.
