You will be responsible for the overall design delivery including having ultimate carriage on any technical decision as well as ensuring projects are delivered within program. Your previous experience working with Transport for NSW will be highly regarded.

Some of your duties include:

• Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
• Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high-quality cost-effective work by others.
• Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
• Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
• Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package.
• Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
• Prepares technical specification sections.
• Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.

Some of your skills and qualifications should include:

• Proven experience delivering a portfolio of significant road, and infrastructure projects within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Prior experience working with Transport for NSW.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex projects and meeting and exceeding delivery requirements.
• Experience leading and mentoring a team of professionals to deliver exceptional service.
• Significant consulting/business knowledge, with major project and/or team management experience.
• Excellent knowledge of project management, and business management systems and procedures, and financial systems.
• Demonstrated commercial acumen, customer focus and business analysis skills.
• Strong client engagement and business.
