Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to enhance our practice and quality excellence in Homelessness and Community Supports services across the North and West Division.

  • This role will play a key part in delivering impactful outcomes for vulnerable communities through innovative programs and evidence-based practices.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience supporting social inclusion and progression of people experiencing homelessness or social isolation using therapeutic and trauma-informed approaches.

  • They will possess deep knowledge and hands-on experience working in homelessness program delivery, including early intervention settings, assertive outreach, and housing-first therapeutic and trauma-informed methodology.
  • A strong track record in coaching and developing staff, leading reflective practice, facilitating training, and providing case consultations is essential.
Your Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice on complex cases and support staff through secondary consultations, training, and reflective practice.
  • Contribute to the development of evidence-based practices at Uniting, ensuring culturally responsive and trauma-informed interventions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to drive impactful outcomes for vulnerable communities through innovative programs like Street2Home, Journey to Social Inclusion, and the Zero Project.
Your Skills and Experience

  • Signed up to and have working knowledge of relevant policies and procedures relating to case management and reporting requirements.
  • Experience working in a similar role within a social service organization preferred but not necessary.
