NSW Health and Safety Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join our NSW team. As a key member of our international Health and Safety Team, you will play a critical role in driving risk reduction and ensuring the safety of our team members.
Main Responsibilities- Lead safety leadership and cultural development across NSW
- Develop and implement safety promotion materials
- Conduct compliance auditing and management in line with state and federal H&S legislation and customer policies
- Assess and mitigate work activity and environment risks
- Consult with customers and regulators on risk management
- Investigate incidents and develop corrective actions
- Manage injury and return-to-work programs
- Develop and implement a D&A test program
- Monitor and improve the effective use of our safety management system
- Drive health and well-being initiatives across the network
You will be a career-focused H&S professional with experience in driving impact and influence across a wider network. Key qualifications include:
- Previous experience in H&S
- Experience in workplace risk management, event investigation, and safety compliance auditing
- Initiative and willingness to solve problems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
