Content Development Strategist

As our key figure in content creation, you will lead the development of engaging affiliate articles that showcase our partners. Your role is to create a strategy and execute its execution, ensuring articles are inspiring and commercially focused.

This newly created position requires an individual who knows great content, is commercially savvy, and is excited about helping grow this new function within our marketing team.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Create and manage the affiliate content strategy to drive engagement, frequency, and revenue.
  • Leverage the wider marketing content plan to produce articles that deliver against revenue objectives.
  • Manage the affiliate content marketing calendar to ensure the right frequency and cadence of articles.
  • Partner with our creative agency to guarantee articles meet brand guidelines and deliver on revenue targets.
  • Write 'quick turn' articles, source imagery, and proofread copy.
  • Develop the affiliate content strategy for key shopping trade moments throughout the year.
  • Contribute to the marketing content planning process to build content moments outside of large trade moments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet ambitious affiliate targets.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Passion for digital content and finding ways to make advertorial content highly engaging.
  • Experience working for a publisher, affiliate agency, or in the media industry.
  • Strong understanding of online marketing campaign processes, implementation, and delivery.
  • Ability to analyze data and build insights to improve online performance.
  • Thrives in an agile, fast-paced environment and builds strong relationships across teams.
