Job Title: Dynamic Video Content Creator

We are seeking a skilled and creative individual to join our team as a Video Content Producer.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in video production, with a deep passion for sport. They will be responsible for creating high-quality video content for on-site and social platforms, developing assets to promote our podcasts and grow our audience, and collaborating with the team to identify and share best practices in news video storytelling.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Produce engaging video content for various sports quickly and efficiently
  • Create compelling assets for social media to promote our podcasts and increase our audience
  • Film and produce video packages that resonate with our target audience
  • Develop basic graphic creation and design skills
  • Have a solid understanding of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
  • Be proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and have a strong understanding of its features
  • Have a good understanding of YouTube CMS to execute strategy and grow podcast video presence on YouTube
  • Work closely with the team to identify and share best practices in news video storytelling
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure video expectations are met
  • Provide data to track and measure the success of video content
  • Demonstrate strong communication and time management skills
  • Bring stories to life through video content and publish them across our apps, websites, and social media platforms
  • Shoot, edit, and present original videos based on national stories
  • Create compelling and accurate graphics content for sharing on our sites and social media platforms
  • Discover trending social video content to share on and off our platforms
  • Provide guidance and training to journalists and producers on video best practices
  • Track and report on the success of video content to meet key performance indicators (KPIs)

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in video production and editing, preferably in a sports environment or as a social media content creator
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills with a solid knowledge of video editing on Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Knowledge of Photoshop and After Effects is desirable
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • A solid understanding of video content and trends, as well as social media platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
