The Role: Content Creator & Social Media Assistant We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Content Creator & Social Media Assistant to join our team on a contract basis with significant opportunity for growth.
As our Content Creator & Social Media Assistant, you will be a key player in bringing the bee kind dog brand to life online.
You will be responsible for creating engaging content that captures our brand's unique balance of trust, innovation, and warmth.
You will work closely with our team, and find inspiration in our furry friends, Wally and Ollie.
Responsibilities Content Creation: Develop and produce high-quality, on-brand content for all social media channels, including short-form videos, static images, and written posts.
Social Media Management: Manage and grow our organic social media presence, with a focus on a "Tik Tok First Strategy".
Community Engagement: Engage with our online community, respond to comments and messages, and foster a loyal following of dog lovers.
Strategy & Collaboration: Work collaboratively with our digital agency to align organic content with paid advertising strategies.
Creative Autonomy: Take ownership of the social media calendar and content plan, bringing fresh and innovative ideas to the table.
What We're Looking For Minimum 1 year of experience in a content creation or social media role.
A genuine love for dogs and a passion for pet wellness.
Strong understanding of social media platforms, especially Tik Tok, and a proven ability to create engaging content.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A proactive attitude and the ability to work autonomously within a fully remote, yet highly collaborative, team.
Based in Melbourne (for coffee catchups and team collaboration).
