Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice and support on procurement planning, tendering and contract formation to ensure compliance with legislation, policies and procedures.
  • Develop and review strategic contracting correspondence, offering high-level advice on complex reports, submissions and documents.
  • Contribute expertise to guide and mentor colleagues on technical and commercial risk principles and performance management frameworks related to procurement and contracting activities.
  • Demonstrate and apply technical and commercial risk principles and performance management frameworks in procurement and contracting activities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop and lead strategies for complex contracting issues.
  • Evaluate and design mitigation strategies for risks associated with procurement, contract performance and compliance with legislative and policy frameworks.
  • Design and implement innovative solutions, providing guidance on complex procurement contracting issues as needed.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to support contract negotiations and develop Offer Definition and Improvement Activities.
  • Advise on procurement planning, tendering and contract formation to ensure compliance with legislation, policies and procedures.
  • Deliver key project documents and artefacts meeting CASG, JSD and capability manager standards and schedules within the scope of task.

The contractor's nominated personnel will provide a knowledge transfer service component, drawing on skills and experience and sharing these with Defence staff.
