Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a role in Child Protection Casework where you will be working closely with families, other agencies and stakeholders to ensure the safety, welfare and wellbeing of children and young people.

In this position, you will be responsible for responding to reports about safety concerns surrounding children or young people who may have been harmed. You will work sensitively and respectfully with parents, family members, children or young people, and engage in complex problem solving.

">

You will also travel across the New England District, undertaking assessment/investigation and ongoing family work with expectant parents to identify and address safety and risk concerns for children following their birth. Additionally, you will advocate for and support families to engage with services and participate in meetings such as Pregnancy Family Conferences or hospital complex case meetings.
